CiteScore updating

Since the introduction of the CiteScore metric in 2020, Chimica Techno Acta has demonstrated an impressive and consistent upward trajectory, with annual values progressing from 0.1 in 2020 to 0.4 in 2021, 0.7 in 2022, 1.0 in 2023, 1.5 in 2024 and 1.9 in 2025. This six-year period of  growth reflects improvements in editorial policy, article quality and international visibility. The current CiteScore of 1.9 is notably robust, as it exceeds the corresponding metrics of numerous Russian journals specializing in chemistry and materials science. Given that many well‑established domestic journals in this field continue to operate below this threshold, so Chimica Techno Acta’s achievement is a significant competitive milestone.

This remarkable growth is directly attributable to the strong and sustained interest of our authors, readers, and reviewers. Their dedication and rigorous work have been key to elevating the journal’s scientific status. The editorial board sincerely thanks all contributors for their invaluable support. Encouraged by this positive momentum and validation of its open-access strategy, the journal looks forward to continuing to serve as a trusted venue for high-quality research in fundamental and applied chemistry.
