The Editorial Board hereby announces a forthcoming change in the publication policy of the Chimica Technica Acta journal. As of the year 2026, the journal will no longer consider Letters as a manuscript type for publication. As a result, short communications that include an insufficient number of illustrative items and discussion will be rejected. 

The authors may consider submitting their letters to other specialized journals, including Mendeleev Communications and other well recognized journal platforms.
